Matriculating Student Official Transcript Policy
The Law School requires all matriculating students to submit final, official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions in a timely manner. For students matriculating into an academic program during the fall semester, transcripts must be received by October 15. For students matriculating in other terms (i.e., spring or summer), transcripts must be received within four weeks after classes begin.
For students matriculating into the Juris Doctor (JD) program, final transcripts must be submitted to the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC). Students matriculating into the Master of Studies in Law (MSL), Master of Laws (LLM), or Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) programs must submit all relevant final transcripts to the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid.
Students who fail to submit their final, official transcripts by the relevant deadline will be allowed to continue enrollment through the first term but will receive an admissions hold by the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid, which will prevent registration for future terms. Any resulting registration hold will be removed only after the Law School has received all relevant transcripts.
